These rates apply for mainland United Kingdom, except the Highlands and Islands. For those areas and Northern Ireland, please enquire. We do not delivery outside UK.


If you want to collect from the Old Bridge then there is obviously no charge. But we do have to take an authorisation on site from the card used for the purchase. We have, sadly, been the victims of fraud in the past.


You will receive an automated confirmation on ordering, after which we will confirm stock availability within 24 hours. It is unavoidable that wines will sometimes be out of stock, so we will always contact you to advise a delivery estimate, or to refund you (immediately) if the stock is not available. If you need the wine for a particular date, or before a particular date please make sure you specify this.

Delivery through APC aims for the following working day. So if you order before 11am and we have the stock available, you should receive your wine within 2 working days (excludes Saturday/Sunday). However this is not guaranteed and can sometimes be a further day. You will be kept informed of any delays. Allow 2 more days for Scotland and 4 for Northern Ireland.

Deliveries are normally weekdays before 4pm. Timed deliveries are available, but at a considerable extra cost.

Collection from the Old Bridge can be made on any day between 9am and 9pm.

Contact details

We always need a contact number for the person receiving the delivery and instructions of where to leave the order if there is ‘no-one home’ (there is a textbox in the shopping process where delivery instructions can be left). If delivery cannot be made first time the courier will attempt once more. Further attempts or re-direction are chargeable, however. If a request is made for wine to be left unattended, Old Bridge Wine cannot be held responsible if the wine goes missing after the courier has delivered it.

Delivery failures and returns

If a delivery has not arrived in the timeframe, please let us know. Although the courier should tell us if there are any breakages, please let us know of any damage within 24 hours of receipt, so we can investigate. Please also be sure to check the number of cases for which you are signing; we cannot replace wine that has been signed for but not received.
