HARRINGTON DRY GIN, Warner Edwards. Northamptonshire

Bin:  3550

Alcohol percentage:  40%

Area:

Harrington, Northamptonshire.
Harrington, is said to be ‘built on rock and water’, with natural springs in abundance across Falls Farm and its historically terraced fields. These fields were once the park and gardens of a medieval manor house. The water used in the distillation and cutting back of the gin is from a spring 300meters from the distillery.
Grape Variety: Distilled from a grain base spirit, every bottle contains 56% natural spring water from the farm along with 11 botanicals including juniper, coriander and cardamom, elderflower, pepper and nutmeg.

Producer:

Fellow graduates of Harper Adams Agricultural College Tom Warner and Sion Edwards initial idea was to create a lavender oil or vodka, however as gin drinkers themselves they decided to create their own special gin.
‘United in Spirit’ is the motto, as W.E. also refers to the herritage of two countries, Wales (Sion) and England (Tom). The first bottling from their Arnold Holstein copper still, known as Curiosity, was in November 2012.
“Thanks to a rogue cat that left its paw prints in the wet cement of the distillery floor we called our still Curiosity”
