A selection from three old vine vineyards in Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger (only made as a separate cuvée in the best year.) Le Mesnil is renowned for making the most mineral, elegant and age-worthy of Chardonnay-based Champagnes, and this is the epitome of that style.
100% Chardonnay. Kept on lees for around 6 years.
4th generation Rodolphe Péters runs this much-admired small estate in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, and 12 of their 17 hectares are in the village, the others nearby on the Côte des Blancs.
Very dry (only 3 or 4g of sugar) but rich and intense. Young, of course, but already beautiful.
